I hardly ever like my quilt when it's in the been-quilted-but-not-squared up-and-bound stage. That last step is the clincher to make it "just wonderful"! Sometimes I have to force myself to finish due to this anomaly, but I have had only one quilt in 30 years that was horrid after it was completed. I gave that sucker away and have not thought about it until this topic came up!
