This worked beautifully on my hardwood floors.

1/4 Cup Vinegar
1 tsp Dish Soap
1/4 Cup Soda (Either washing or baking sodas will work)

Mix with 2 Gallons of hot water.

This mix will help remove the residue left by Murphy's Oil Soap.
