Hi dray965..Good thread!!!

#1...ACCURACY..Saves so much time and frustration...Today, I pieced nine patch blocks. I chained sewed the squares, butting them carefully, as not to have loose stitches. Take it slow. Does not take as much time as ripping. ALL your seams will line up, and life will be wonderful..
#2 To make this just perfect, I used the Commando picture hanging strips to measure the 1/4 ", that has been suggested here on QB.
Thick enough to butt up your fabric. I DID attach the strip over the frog tape, afraid the commando tape might not come off the machine..But that's your choice..
I have learned all about machines and what they do..because of this , I have my Juki 98 , that I just love. Plus a dependable lower end Janome, that keeps me well equipped.
I have sooo many links of information from QB members.. They are the greatest, and it can't be stated enough...
I guess most important, is always UNPLUG your IRON when not in use...
