I just purchased one and am having the same problem. I was in a class at the quilt shop a couple of days ago and was told that I would have to bring it in to have it recalibrated. I was also told that adjusting the tension in the display would simply reset each time the machine was turned off. I am hesitant to believe this but have not had a chance to play with it. I am just glad to know that I am not the only one and it isn't a loose screw between the seat and the fabric. (me
