I put them under the broiler for a few minutes on each side. And then brush barbeque sauce on the salmon. Put back under the broiler to char up the sauce. I usually serve the salmon over long grain and wild rice with asparagus as a veggie. With the asparagus clean and remove the woody part of the stalk. Put the asparagus into a flat shallow glass dish pour in some olive oil, thin sliced garlic cloves (2 or 3), spray a cookie sheet with Pam and spread the asparagus out in a flat layer.
Place under the broiler fro a about 3 minutes, shake the cookie sheet to move the asparagus around and broil for another 3 to 4 minutes. They should have a nice roasted color to them.
