So are these a Quilt As You Go? and if so, did they teach the construction of the quilt this way in the Craftsy class or did you opt to QYG on your own? I'm with you, I don't like to push a big quilt around the small harp of a machine.
In Leah Day's Free Motion Quilting a Sampler, she shows both ways - quilting the whole pieced top and also how to go about QAYG and attach each block with sashing at the front and binding at the back. Her instructions are flawless!
