The host, Pokey, drives me absolutely batty! She just seems like an airhead and inexperienced about what is on the show.
I think she comes off that way because she is trying to place herself in the position of a newbie quilter who doesn't know anything, so the guest instructor won't miss something important for a new quilter. I kind of felt that way about her, too, but I enjoyed her last year at the Quilt Festival in Houston and realized she wasn't ditzy at all.
