That is the same machine as the Brother 900 with the benefit of an embroidery unit-the newer models are the Sofia 2 and Brother 950D, I have the 950D & love it(D stands for Disney, only Brother D models can use the Disney designs) the advantage of the Sofia 2 or Brother 950D is that they have a USB port, you can put in deigns with USB stick.
The Brother cs6000i & sq9050 are also great machines, super for travel & class, even lighter than the 950D but no embroidery. I keep my cs600i in a tote with extra needles & thread & when I have a class or a chance to sew with friends I grab the tote & run, it often goes with me on vacation too.
