I, too, would recommend that you go ahead and buy the Bernina feet for two reasons. (1) You know what the quality of the foot is, and (2) you know that it will work on your machine. If you can wait for a sale, you will get the best price. Or, if you are going to one of the big quilt shows, check and see if Bernina will have a booth, because they usually sell the accessories at a slight discount. Remember, you get what you pay for.
