This is a little off topic but a friend told me yesterday that she went to a lecture/open house by the costume department at the local opera house. They were told that, because they don't have time to dry clean the costumes every day, they spray them with a mixture of water and vodka. She said that the vodka kills the bacteria that cause body odor!
Another off topic comment: I bumped into a fellow quilter at work and she smelled so nice that I asked her what perfume she was wearing. She wasn't wearing any but she remembered that she had been working on a quilt before she came to work so the lovely scent was Best Press!
