Hello and welcome from eastern PA! I don't know about Bernina's but I do have a Babylock Esante. I purchased it 3 weeks ago but I do love it. It's an investment for sure, so make sure your research the machine you want. I don't know if my machine is considered "upper level" but it's a combo sewing/embroidery machine. Lots of wonderful features.
