I guess I could have re-cut, but I really wanted to use what I brought with me, as I was on a retreat. Re-cutting would mean putting it away for over a week.
I decide to flip things inside out and see what would look good. I really like how it came out and there was very little scrap after I messed up. I did document what I did so if I really want I could make more.

Honestly - I like your AFTER block much better than the starting plain pinwheel.........I think it has a lot of movement and interest............and I can imagine an entire top done with this block, with dark sashing - really neat.......want to share what you did? I would like to try making this block.......and I am sure many others would too!
