I had planned on doing the machines myself, but my paying job (and the garden) has been crazy all summer, and I've not had time. DH has the opposite problem, there's been no work in his field in our area for some time. So he gets the fun part of cleaning up the machines. In his first life, he was an auto mechanic, so he knows about machines and dealing with junky, rusted up metal. I do all the cabinet refinishing though, he has no interest in that part of restoration.
Besides, he actually found this machine and he might be a bit disapointed if HE didn't get to play with it first.
