hmmm - I may have to change the way I talk about my sewing machines. I told someone that I had my "ladies in waiting" and they asked "waiting for what"
"My DH to service them, of course " . . .

Macybaby, you can service this machine yourself. Just start using sewing machine oil to clean up the parts with Qtips and cotton balls. A good video to watch on clean up a machine is MUV's. Enjoy your Two Spools!

I had planned on doing the machines myself, but my paying job (and the garden) has been crazy all summer, and I've not had time. DH has the opposite problem, there's been no work in his field in our area for some time. So he gets the fun part of cleaning up the machines. In his first life, he was an auto mechanic, so he knows about machines and dealing with junky, rusted up metal. I do all the cabinet refinishing though, he has no interest in that part of restoration.
Besides, he actually found this machine and he might be a bit disapointed if HE didn't get to play with it first.
