There is one issue, and that is when you use the 1/4 foot the factory setting at 3.5 is too wide, so you have to set it at 4.5. I was told this when I took the training class. But have recently learned that they have made a new 1/4 foot that allows you to use the factory setting. I just haven't bought it yet. Oh, and I'm from Glendale and Flagstaff.
Thank you so much for the information. I liked the machine when I saw it demonstrated. I have a Janome 3160 and like it NOW - it is only 2 yrs. old and I had it in for repairs 7 times before it was fixed properly, so I am a bit leery of getting another Janome. I do not like Singers at all and Phaff is no longer the excellent machine it used to be as it has been bought out by someone.

I so appreciate your input and will go back to see the machine again.

May your day be blessed beyond measure
