I just checked these out and think for a domestic machine they might be great- not too big, easy to handle...I would not use them with my long-arm being only 1/4" thick my hopping foot would jump on top of the ruler & be horribly dangerous. all of the rulers I have for the long arm are at least 3/8" thick- 2 are 1/2"... but for a domestic I think they would be great.
