Advice on border would be much appreciated

I think I prefer the unbroken border however is it okay to cut the fabric along its length? There are four repeats of the border so I think there's plenty of it to go all around. This will be a full king when its finished. I ran out of fabric so just getting down to finishing off the bands today before getting stuck into the border. Thank you
