Teach yourself from youtube! Crochet is so much easier than knitting. You don't have to worry about dropped stitches, if you make a goof, you just rip it back and do it again. Start with something simple like a crochet Granny Square or a crocheted washcloth. Buy one of giant balls of yarn from Walmart and a crochet hook and get busy!
