You are very lucky. I have one of the 185J's (they called them J's in Canada, and K's in the United States--same machine). My elderly mother was clearing out her house and I snagged it before she took it to the church sale. I absolutely love that machine and do most of my piecing on it.

Actually, I was giving my little green machine the TriFlow spa treatment and noticed, in fact, it is a J, not a K--so it is made in Canada. I replaced the belt, it runs nicely. We'll see how it sews this weekend. I'm anxious to try it!
