Meanmom, I remember those kind of days oh so well. Before I had to retire early teaching special ed. I had this one student who was just spoiled. He learned what he could get away with. The principal let him too just to avoid his parents threatening to send him somewhere else. I would try to get class started with my students, and he would grin and say he needed to use the bathroom. I would let him go then as soon as he got back he would say he needed to go again, and would repeat this maybe 10 times. He didn't have a health issue going on. I finally got so upset, and called the principal to come and get him so I could have class. She would throw it all back on me. This student had caused every teacher he ever had problems that would cause their class to stop. I had other kids who functioned low, but they would try their best. This student did not function low, but caused a lot of trouble. Such is life. lol...
