One of the best books ever written on turning that type of landscape photo into quilts is Landscapes & Illusions by Joen Wolfrom. It was published in 1990, with a second printing in 1991, by C&T Publishing. ISBN is 0-914881-32-9. Check with your local library about trying to find it through ILL (inter-library loan) or get it directly from C&T as an eBook for 14.99
