Thank you, I was desperate as the original fabric has completely disintegrated, along with the batting so I appliqued the Sue onto a piece of wadding backed with a light pillow case fabric, carefully cut around it and FMQ it onto the quilt and it worked like a dream so as I have said when I have the time I will do an Overall Sam, the same way to keep SS company and save this lovely quilt for a while longer. The quilt is far too delicate now to use as a quilt but hanging up in my bedroom window I can have the pleasure of looking at it.
