I've been thinking I will go back to muslin for quilt backs. I'm currently hand quilting a quilt with a printed back and the stitches don't show much (a good thing!), but the quilted design doesn't either(not so good). And the price of printed fabric is a factor these days too. I've had good luck with Roc Lon and always pre wash to shrink. JMHO.
