I love the quilt but I must offer my two cents. I just talked with my quilter, yes I send some of my quilts out to be quilted, and she mentioned that she won't quilt with the clear thread. I guess after a fair amount of use it can split the material at the point of stitching. After doing a beautiful job on the quilt I would hate to think of it getting split by quilting thread. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
i've never had that happen. but the effort involved in setting the tension differently to accommodate the lesser diameter and then setting it back again is too great. also, it tangles like mad. and if you do need to remove it from the quilt, i dare you to find it.
