I would have been OK if I had held fast and firm to my "Singer Only" plan . . .
I live in Wake Forest, NC, and my husband and I purchased a property to build on. On it was an old, 1903 house with no chance of resurrecting, and several chicken coop/workshops. Anyhow, we invited the fire department to conduct practice drills, which they did on the house. The FDept tore down the sheds, and on the ground were a couple of drawers from an old sewing machine cabinet. Of course I looked in them and came up with a couple of feet and a partial book for a Singer Nos. 127-3 and 128-3. The feet are rusty and dirty, but I believe could be cleaned up.
My question - does anyone have any interest in these? If so, let me know and I'll take some photos of my find. I only wish the machine was in the shed, but alas, no.......
