Thanks for the comparisons. I also have the Brother CS6000i that I carry to classes, etc. It is a nice little machine, particularly for the money, but I've wondered how it compares to other lightweights. I have a Janome 7700 that I use at home but that thing is way too heavy to take out of the house.
