Gluten free is not something you like or dislike, or even a diet fad ~ it's a serious health issue. For those who have Celiac disease, a gluten free food is absolute necessity. If someone prepares a food with gluten in it, gently wipes off the counter and prepares a gluten free dish secondly, chances are the person with celiac disease will be extremely and possibly violently ill just from the residue gluten. To take the time to make something for someone affected by Celiac is extremely kind and caring for you to do. It's similar to someone who has a nut allergy. Just barely coming in contact with nut residue is potentially life-threatening for them. Celiac would not be life-threatening, but almost!!!Bless you for thinking of her.
