I made my daughter's DWR queen size in brown and peaches. It turned out super. I made it in three months, sent it to my Amish friend and she quilted it and bound it for me. My daughter got engaged at Christmas and they set the date for May. The quilt was done in time for the shower. I used the templates (hard plastic) for each little piece and had no trouble at all. When you attach the melons to the rings, just pin the centers and then it works out. I cut a lot out at a time, like all the melons, etc. After you cut the pieces out, use paper plates to separate them, to line them up to sew. Go for it, and have fun. Make sure you get that label on. In fact, besides the label, I embroidered their date and names inside the center 3 melons at the bottom of the quilt. I used white or ecru so when you look at the quilt, it does not jump out at you. Good luck.
