Toverly, do you do your quilting on your 3050? If so how is the throat space for moving your quilt through? I looked for the dimensions there and I must have missed it cuz I couldn't find measurements.
I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner, I've been out and about today. The throat space is small. I measured it at 6 1/2 inches. I don't quilt on it, I use it for piecing and taking to classes. Oops, should have read further, sounds like you made a good choice on your new machine. I do like Janome brand and haven't had a problem with it. Enjoy playing with your new baby.
