Hi Diana, You ask a great question and I thought about that. My DGD is 6 and for her lines on her face after sleeping wouldn't matter like it would for us. However, I don't think it would be uncomfortable since none of the seams are really thick. I will have to wait to hear from her after she sleeps on it.
Rice bags are something I have been making for my grandchildren to keep them warm in bed at night. I make a bag and fill them up with uncooked rice before closing the opening in the bag. You heat them up in the microwave (time varies as to how hot you want them to get), for about 2 minutes. They hold the heat for quite a while... definitely long enough to fall asleep. We use them in our home a lot. My grandhildren each have two that they request to have heated every night before hopping in the sack. The ones I make are quite simple.
