If I"m not mistaken and please correct me if I am but isn't Pfaff and Singer together nowdays? I don't believe that Pfaff is the great machine it use to be..back when Nancy Zimman used them on her show. I know Singer isn't. Hopefully your mother brought it from a shop and not on line. I know who terrible and nerve wrecking a problem like this can be. Good luck!!
