I totally understand your dilemma, I love scrap quilts but I'm not ever going to live long enough to do them AND cut up my yardage, the yardage wins, so what I do is give all my scraps to a couple of quilting friends, one of them doesn't have very much money and can't afford to buy fabric. They're both absolutely thrilled with the scraps. I make pet bed and stuff them with the tiny pieces of scraps and batting, and donate them to our local humane society.
