I sort my scraps as I 'make' them, so I have shoeboxes labeled, blue, green, red, etc. Every once in a while I use my Accuquilt to cut squares from them, and then they go in boxes labeled: 2" squares, 2-1/2", 3" etc. I use the squares as 'starters and enders' when I'm piecing - just like Bonnie Hunter suggests. Pretty soon I'll have a million 4 patches. Some of the shoeboxes are labeled 'strips' - they'll be used in crumb quilts.
