I kind of like the “Wagon Treadle”. I saved copies of the photos and might make one out of my old Texas Ranger wagon out in the back yard that has the front axle ripped out of it. Only, I think I might turn the wagon right side up to hold more.
I really don’t have a problem with people repurposing old sewing machine items. I have a treadle garden myself. Vegetable plants in tubs elevated up onto old “barn-fresh” treadle stands that have broken cast iron but can still hold weight. I have a White Martha Washington coffee table too. It has a functional White Embossed Model 31 Rotary in it.
Over the years, I have collected photos off of the internet of “other” things made out of sewing machine items. So far, I have 582 photos, some of which are multiples of the same item, but many are a single photo of an individual thing. Currently, I have photos of 5 jigsaws, 1 table saw, 1 lathe, 1 grinder, 6 lamps, 3 liquor cabinets, 1 beer cooler, 1 whiskey still, 1 BBQ cooker, 117 tables, 12 coffee tables, 33 tractors, 10 sinks/basins, 5 saddle racks, and several miscellaneous benches, mailboxes, vanities, trunks, hutches, planters, bird houses/cages, desks, bookends, and other “art”.....
I can’t show you the photos of most of them because I don’t have the copyright on them.
