Correction: We're at Stage 3 Water-use Restrictions. Some of the neighboring communities had gone to Stage 4 a while back, and there'd been some talk about it here, but then we began getting some much needed rain. I think Stage 4 eliminates all outdoor plant watering with treated water (rain water only). That would probably mean an end to our treadle garden.

We are having limitations on water usage this year too. Our garden is only a few plants this year and we are watering with captured water as well. The yellow squash has come in and I see some tiny green tomatoes coming along.

If you want some water you are welcome to it. Everything here is soggy this year. Flooded the interstates and everything a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for the offer, but you know how hard it is to build a pipeline these days....

I'll send you some of our rain - but you have to take the hail and tornadoes that have been coming with it.

I didn't put in a real garden this year -got way too much going on in the "family" front - mine is normally 6,000 sq feet. We'll be on the road again this weekend.

That is one reason I've got more time to mess with sewing machines - don't need to be spending hours a week pulling weeds, though I do enjoy that.
