My favorite is spritz. We use the Christmas tree press at Christmas. Mom likes the wreaths made with the star press, too.

Spritz Cookies

1/2 lb butter
2/3 c sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 tsp almond extract
2-1/2 c flour or more
dash salt

Cream butter, add sugar, then egg yolks. Add almond extract then flour. Extrude from cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in hot oven (400 F) Watch carefully, takes 5-8 min. Makes 10 dozen wreaths.

I also llike the German's Chocolate Brownie Drops.

Brownie Drops 3 dozen
2 pkg (4 oz ea) German's Sweet Chocolate (substitute 8 oz chocolate chips, but not cocoa)
1 tbsp butter
2 egg
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
3/4 c chopped pecans
1/2 tsp vanilla

Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler, stirring occasionally, remove from heat. Meanwhile, beat eggs till foamy; add sugar 2 tbsp at a time and beat until mixture is very thick (5 min by mixer and longer by hand). Blend in chocolate mixture. Add rest of ingredients. Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheet. Bake 350 F 10-12 min or until set. Cool; store in tightly covered container.
