I live in far northern California, we are suffering the drought conditions too! Our water comes from a spring filled water tank, I am afraid we will have to haul water in a big tank that fits in the back of our pick-up again this year but sooner. No lawn, flowers or veggies again this year. I was thinking, we have an oil pipelines why not water pipelines set up on a grid like the power lines? Surely more useful than high speed rail and bridges to no where.
