We have been snow birds for 4 years now and are seriously thinking of moving permanently to Texas. We live in Albert Lea, MN from May 1st to October 15th then we head to Mission, Texas for the next 6 months and we love it. The one thing I have learned with our travels is that fabric selection really varies by area..In Minnesota I only have to drive 9 miles to one of the best shops in Minnesota and in Texas I drive 1 1/2 hours to a mediocre quilt shop so I try to stock up in Minnesota and bring it with me
