I prefer Warm & Natural -- with flannel, it makes a nice cozy quilt, and looks so nice when its washed after its quilted...it puckers nicely. Don't think that would be too warm...you live in an even colder area of Oregon than I do, and these types of quilts are perfect for Salem. We use heavy flannel sheets for the bed, 2 blankets and a quilt on top, and its warm enough for DH. For me, I end up folding the quilt and top blanket aside and sleeping with one blanket & the flannel sheet top and I'm good.
