I think muslin is one of the items where that old saying comes into play. "You get what you pay for"
If you get it cheap, then cheap is what you get. The good Quality muslin costs a little more and is worth it. I get mine from Keepsake Quilting, a Quilt Shop I trust. Have never bought anything from them that was not the best quality.
