You should use Sta-Flo starch( you can find it at Walmart). Mix it half with water and put it in a spray bottle. Dampen your fabric, then spray it with the starch. Then iron it dry. All of this is before you cut out anything. It really controls bias, makes matching seams easier, pressing better, and all but stops fraying. Then once your project is finished just wash/rinse out the starch. You will be amazed ! ! ! Fixes LOTS of problems. It takes lots of time to do this but I think you will be very please.
