North central Illinois: Below zero most of the time for almost a month now, forced air gas furnace is running almost constantly- I keep temp at 70- and house has some chilly spots! Snow is heavy almost record breaking....BUT upside, so THEY ( weather gurus.?hah! ) say will gradually warm to above freezing next few days..then more snow. My concern now is when these mountains of snow begin to melt in the spring thaw ( whenever that is!) it will be a flooding problem. The earth is surely having a gigantic hiccup!
