Shame on your local quilt shops for not knowing about groups who do charity quilts!
They need to be reading the current quilting magazines to keep abreast of the industry and the things that are involved with it. It's unfortunate that too many LQS are just a hobby source for fabric for their owners and employees when they could be SO much more.
