My very favorite is Sisters in Quilting in Marlette, MI. She does day retreats bi-monthly and serves homemade cinnamon rolls and coffee for breakfast and home made lunch and dinner all for the cost of $20 and that is a full day of sewing and any help you may need and lots of good company. She makes you feel like a very close friend after you leave one of her retreats and did I mention you get a 15% discount plus full access to the store all day. You never have the feeling that you are being watched just a lot of fun. My only regret but maybe this is a good thing she is an hour away in good weather.
