I have the old school kindle maybe 2nd edition 4-5 years or so old I love it its 3G I dont even have adds on the screen saver it's book covers. I prefer reading off that it's easier on my eyes than my iPad I have the kindle app on it too I use it when I read in bed and don't want to disturb my husband. Best part is they sync up so I don't have to look for where I was in the book. Just recently the battery started wearing down where I have to charge it more often, once a week or so.
