The only downside is that the smaller the scrap, the larger percentage you lose to seams. I would figure that you are only going to wind up with about 60 to 75% of what you think. I'm not saying this as a negative, I love scrap quilts, just mentioning this for planning purposes.

PPrincess! That is why I try to make minis out of these little "pre cuts" rather than cut the strips for a specific width in a project.
