I think every town in the county is on a run water rule. I heard of several people tonight whose wells are frozen and need to be replaced, but, of course, no well digger can do anything until spring. I repeat: having to replace a section of floor covering is no big deal. I am just so tired of living in a mess, but I will survive.
Tired with sore legs tonight and I have to get the family room ready for furniture. Walking the dogs was not fun - I took them downtown thinking the merchants would have the sidewalks cleared - NOT! I hadn't used the new crosswalks yet. My skittish dog was not impressed when a monotone male voice kept saying, "Wait." Both dogs know that command so they froze, but Lily kept looking around to see who was speaking. Moira didn't care - she just planted her little butt and waited.
