I have my quilt retreat this weekend. I can't wait. I hope to finish a baby quilt tonight. It is an heirloom sampler. 12 different blocks and techniques. I have 2 blocks left to quilt and the label to make. It is coming out really well. It is for my DS and DIL. I need to get it in the mail as it is going to Japan. I need to get my things ready for retreat. I like to take things that don't take a whole lot of thought so I can visit and talk. I was going to make a professional tote for me. I have had the fabric for a while. I want to get it all cut before I go. There is only limited space for a large cutting mat. We usually set up 2 or 3 for 55 people. There are several small cutting stations. It is a lot of cutting. I also want to cut out a one block wonder to take along too. The food is delicious, not diet friendly. Dessert is served at lunch and dinner. It is an old boarding school and they are awesome cooks. I hope the weather is good so I can get out for a walk.
