I am sorry to hear of your problem but glad that you posted a thread about it. My sister-in-law has an Amish quilt that she never has washed. The cat was sick on it and when she tried to treat it, the stain came out but the magenta fabric in the flowers ran. This is an appliqued quilt with a snowy white background.
I'm hoping one of these suggestions works for her. Not sure which to try first.
