Yes, post us a picture of the fabric. Almonds are a pretty good choice. I would have been in the chocolate stash. I have some good chocolate ice cream right now. I came in from work and had the bowl and the ice cream scoop out. I did put it away. Luckily I came to my senses before I ate it all. I ate about 1 tbsp.
I thought about echoing the tulip in my quilt block but i have already done that in another block. I have a stencil catalog that I sometimes use for ideas. I am going to look on Leah Day's website for an idea too.
